Belvedere-on-River is a 4-star guest home in Malelane that combines old-world elegance with contemporary comfort. Our resort is on the southern bank of the Crocodile River and has amazing views of Kruger National Park, where you may often see the Big Five. Belvedere-on-River has been a peaceful place for tourists to interact with nature since it opened. It’s about four hours from Gauteng.

Our beautiful en-suite rooms are both stylish and useful, making sure that both business and leisure visitors have a relaxing stay. There is air conditioning, no smoking, and DSTV, a small fridge bar, and hair dryers in each room. We have many types of rooms available:

• Single room (bed and breakfast): R750.00 per night
• Single in a double/twin room (bed and breakfast): R950.00 per night
• Double or twin room (bed and breakfast): R1450.00 per night for two visitors

Our rooms are designed for leisure and open onto a large terrace where visitors may rest and watch nature in its natural setting. The tropical garden and gazebo add to the peaceful environment, making it a perfect place to get away from it all.

Eating and Resting

Belvedere-on-River doesn’t have a restaurant on site, but our fully licensed bar lets customers have a drink while taking in the views of the river. The sounds of the Crocodile River make the balcony a great place to have coffee in the morning or drinks at night.

Belvedere-on-River Services

Our guest home has a swimming pool surrounded by beautiful grounds where visitors may cool down while viewing birds and other animals. We have a conference room that can hold up to 18 people and has a Proxima for presentations for business travellers. Please keep in mind that our lodge is not wheelchair accessible and we only accept visitors who are 16 years old or older.
