About Us
Disa Lodge is a charming guesthouse in the heart of Darling, Western Cape, owned and operated by Pat and Bobby. Originally moving to Darling in 2005 with retirement plans, the couple instead transformed their home into a welcoming bed and breakfast. Today, Disa Lodge is celebrated for its warm hospitality and serene setting, earning recognition as a 2018 Best Value Establishment.
Disa Lodge Accommodation
Our lodge offers three double bedrooms, each thoughtfully designed for comfort. Two north-facing rooms feature twin beds, while the east-facing room has a double bed. Every bedroom includes an en-suite bathroom and a private entrance onto a veranda, allowing guests to enjoy the peaceful surroundings.
For those seeking independence, our self-catering Disa Cottage accommodates up to four guests. It features a double bedroom with twin beds, a sleeper couch in the lounge, and a private stoep with braai facilities. A washing machine and secure off-road parking add convenience to your stay.
Dining & Relaxation
While Disa Lodge does not have an on-site restaurant, guests can enjoy a traditional South African braai on our covered stoep, complete with an antique fireplace for cooler evenings. The nearby town of Darling offers delightful dining options, including wine tastings at local vineyards and unique experiences at Evita se Perron theatre.
Disa Lodge Facilities
We provide free Wi-Fi and secure parking behind locked gates. The lodge’s lush gardens, tended by Bobby, create a tranquil atmosphere. For leisure, guests can explore nearby golf courses, tennis courts, and cycling tracks, or visit the pristine “16 Mile Beach” just a short drive away.
Explore Darling
Darling’s quiet charm is complemented by attractions like the Darling Brewery, cheese factory, and olive tasting rooms. Whether birdwatching along the local route or enjoying a show at Evita se Perron, Disa Lodge is the perfect base for your Western Cape escape.
