Shamrock Arms Guest Lodge is a 4-star Celtic-themed hotel in Waterval Boven (Emgwenya), along the beautiful Mpumalanga Highlands Meander Route. Terry and Sue, the owners of the resort, wanted to combine their Irish background with South African hospitality. It is a peaceful place for tourists to rest on their way to Kruger National Park or while touring the Panorama Route. The names of the rooms are all based on famous Celtic symbols, which adds a historical and cultural touch to every visit.

Room for Brigid’s Cross

This fancy room has a king-size or twin beds and its own bathroom. There is a private entrance, air conditioning, satellite TV, tea and coffee making facilities, a complimentary bar, and free Wi-Fi. The Brigid’s Cross sign gives your stay a little more protection and good luck.

Room with a Celtic Cross

This room has a queen-size bed and a private bathroom. It represents the everlasting spiritual life that the Trinity Knot stands for. Guests may use the air conditioning, the complimentary bar, and satellite TV.

Only Available Self-Catering Option

You may reserve the whole lodge only for your party of 10 to 14 people. The self-catering option comes with a fully stocked kitchen, a braai area, and access to all seven rooms. You may also choose to have staff help you with meals and cleaning.
