Ellerman House

Ellerman House is a high-end boutique hotel and private villas in Cape Town’s Bantry Bay. We have just 13 bedrooms and two private villas, so we provide a private getaway where individual care meets understated elegance. Our historic home looks out over the Atlantic Ocean and combines modern luxury with South Africa’s rich artistic history.

Rooms in the Classic and Superior House

The Classic House Room is snug and luxurious, with thoughtful touches. The Superior House Room has huge bay windows that frame views of the ocean. Both have their own bathrooms, underfloor heating, and air conditioning.

Deluxe Spa Suites

These quiet getaways are close to our world-class spa, which has communal terraces and pools. The beautiful design makes the room seem calm and peaceful, which is perfect for relaxing.

Each of our seven Deluxe House Rooms has its own patio with stunning views of the ocean. These rooms are big and airy, and they wrap visitors in luxury with high-end amenities.

Our suites include more than 1100 square feet of calm privacy, with separate lounges, dining spaces, and large private patios. Each one shows off a cherished item from our private art collection.

Private Villas

Villa One and Villa Two are the most luxurious, with private infinity pools, breathtaking ocean views, and a chef who is always available. These modern villas are the best place for families or groups to stay.

Dining at Ellerman House

OneEighty Restaurant offers elegant dining with views of the ocean, and BAR ROC is the best place to have a drink at sunset. Our Wine Gallery has 9,000 bottles of the best wines from South Africa.

Ellerman House Spa and Wellness

Our peaceful spa has four treatment rooms where you can get massages that relieve muscular pain and cosmetic treatments. The sauna, steam room, and sensation shower are all part of the facilities, along with a state-of-the-art gym.

Gardens and Art at Ellerman House

Our terraced indigenous gardens are home to Cape Floral Kingdom species, and the property has South Africa’s largest private art collection, which you can see on guided tours.
