In the centre of Newlands Village, Cape Town, Pear Lane Bed & Breakfast offers a historic yet contemporary getaway. Our B&B is a mix of old and new comfort. It was originally built in 1829 as a cottage for workers on the Newlands Estate Farm. We are in a calm area surrounded by thick foliage and framed by the stunning Devil’s Peak. We are just a few minutes from Table Mountain and Cape Town’s best attractions.

Our large rooms are made for relaxing. You can choose between a king or single bed, and there are large sash windows with views of the mountains or the garden. If you choose to cook your own meals, our well-stocked kitchens have everything you need. There is a private patio with French doors that is the ideal place to have breakfast or a barbecue (braai) in the evening using the tools we provide. The patio leads to a peaceful pool area with chairs, which is great for relaxing after a day of exploring.

We may pick you up from the airport and provide you phone cards or recharge vouchers for international calls to make your stay as easy as possible.
