Milkwood Lodge is a top-notch guest home in Hermanus. It is located at the foot of the Fernkloof Nature Reserve and just a short walk from Grotto Beach. Since it opened, the lodge has been a safe haven for tourists looking for comfort, natural beauty, and friendly service. Our team speaks English, Afrikaans, German, and Xhosa, so everyone feels welcome.

We provide a range of large, well-decorated rooms and cottages that are perfect for relaxing and having some quiet. Each choice has its own door, terrace, and contemporary facilities to make your stay more comfortable.

Luxury Room with King-Size Bed

This accommodation is perfect for couples. It has a choice of twin or king-size mattresses, an en-suite bathroom with a bath and walk-in shower, and a private terrace with amazing views of the mountains. Direct access to the pool and heating beneath the floor make it even more comfortable.

King-Size Luxury Twin Room

This accommodation is great for couples or friends. It has twin beds that can be turned into a king-size bed, a large bathroom, and a terrace that looks out over the garden. Enjoy free tea and coffee and a braai/BBQ area.

Family Room with a King-Size Bed

This room is in the main house and can fit up to four people. It has one queen bed and two twin beds. It has a kitchenette and a walk-in shower, which makes it great for families.

Double Room with Luxury

This queen-size room has a dressing area, a door to the courtyard, and a fancy bathroom. Access to its calm garden makes it a great place to relax.

Cottage with One Bedroom

A separate room with king or twin beds, a kitchenette, and a lounge with day beds for kids. The private patio has a view of the mountains and is a great place to relax and cook your own meals.

King-Size Luxury Triple Room

This room is big and on the ground level, making it great for parties or families. It has three twin beds, a private terrace, and direct access to the garden.

Eating and Relaxing

Before you go out to see Hermanus, have a big breakfast. We don’t have a restaurant on the property, but we do have a braai/BBQ area and are close to places like Dutchies and Lizette’s where you may dine.
