Shalom Lodge

Shalom Lodge is a friendly residence in the middle of Cradock that offers real Eastern Cape hospitality. Our lovely house is a quiet place for tourists to stay as they explore the Karoo area. It’s close to attractions like the Mountain Zebra National Park.

Shalom Lodge Accommodations

We provide a range of suitable places to stay that will fit various requirements and budgets:

Rooms with Private Bathrooms

Couples or lone travellers will love our well-furnished en-suite accommodations (accommodations 1, 2, 3, 4, and 7). Each has a double bed, a private bathroom with a walk-in shower, and contemporary conveniences including Wi-Fi, DSTV, tea and coffee making facilities, a microwave, and a small fridge. Heaters and electric blankets are nice to have in the winter.

Units for Self-Catering

Our self-catering rooms (Rooms 5, 10, 11, and 12) can fit up to three people, with a double bed and a single bed. They are great for families or small parties. These flats include kitchenettes, private braai areas, and all the amenities of our en-suite rooms, plus more space and freedom.

Rooms on a Budget

Our budget rooms (Rooms 8 and 9) are great for solo travellers since they have comfortable three-quarter beds, private baths, and all the basic facilities at a great price.

What Shalom Lodge has to offer

Guests may use our beautiful garden with braai facilities, free Wi-Fi throughout the house, secure parking, and laundry services that are available upon request. Our Dundas Street location is handy since it is close to local services yet still quiet.
