Affiliate Membership Terms and Conditions
1. Introduction
Welcome to the Destination South Africa Affiliate Program. By signing up as an affiliate with Destination South Africa (destinationsouthafrica.co.za), you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions.
2. Enrollment in the Affiliate Program
To enroll in the affiliate program, you must complete and submit the online application on destinationsouthafrica.co.za. We will review your application and notify you of your acceptance or rejection. We may reject your application if we determine that you or your website is unsuitable for the program.
3. Affiliate Responsibilities
As an affiliate of Destination South Africa, you agree to use the provided affiliate links and promotional materials only for their intended purpose. You must not engage in any misleading, unethical, or illegal marketing practices.
4. Commissions
Affiliates will earn a commission of 20% for each completed sale made through their affiliate links. Commissions will only be paid for sales that are completed, and where the payment is received from the customer. Affiliates are allowed to earn commissions for their own orders.
5. Payment of Commissions
Commission payments will be made on the first of the month following the month in which the sale was completed. Payments will be made via the payment method selected during the sign-up process. A valid payment method must be maintained in your affiliate account to receive payments. The minimum payout amount is R1,000. All payments will be made in South African Rand (ZAR).
6. Refund Grace Period
A refund grace period of 30 days applies to all completed sales. Commissions will only be paid for sales that are not refunded within this period.
7. Tracking Cookies
Our tracking cookies have a duration of 120 days. This means that you will be credited for any sales made by a customer within 120 days of clicking your affiliate link, provided that no other affiliate’s cookie has been tracked in the meantime. The last affiliate’s tracking cookie will be rewarded with the commission.
8. Affiliate Links
You will be provided with a unique affiliate link to track referrals and sales. It is your responsibility to ensure that the links are used correctly to track sales. Destination South Africa will not be responsible for any issues arising from the misuse of affiliate links.
9. Prohibited Activities
Affiliates are prohibited from bidding on keywords containing “Destination South Africa” or any variations thereof in any pay-per-click (PPC) advertising.
10. Termination
Destination South Africa reserves the right to terminate your participation in the affiliate program at any time, with or without cause. Upon termination, you will no longer have the right to use affiliate links or promotional materials, and you will forfeit any unpaid commissions.
11. Modification of Terms
Destination South Africa may modify any of the terms and conditions within this agreement at any time. Changes will be communicated to affiliates via email or by posting on destinationsouthafrica.co.za. Your continued participation in the affiliate program after the modifications will constitute your acceptance of the changes.
12. Limitation of Liability
Destination South Africa will not be liable for indirect, special, or consequential damages (or any loss of revenue, profits, or data) arising in connection with this agreement or the affiliate program, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
13. Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of South Africa. Any disputes arising in connection with these terms and conditions will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Africa.
14. Acceptance
By enrolling in the Destination South Africa Affiliate Program, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these terms and conditions.
