Wolmaransstad is a farming town located in North West province, approximately 250km southwest of Johannesburg. Situated along the important N12 national route, this agricultural center lies on the banks of the Makwasi River in the heart of South Africa‘s maize triangle.

The area experiences typical Highveld weather with warm summers and cool, dry winters. Wolmaransstad’s landscape features vast crop fields, grazing lands and the characteristic flat-topped hills of the region. The town serves as an important service centre for surrounding farms while providing convenient stopover facilities for travelers on the N12 corridor.
