About Us
For over two decades, Cape Town Flight Training Centre (CTFTC) has stood as the Western Cape‘s premier destination for world-class flight training. Founded in 2003 by aviation professionals who recognised the need for rigorous yet accessible training, we’ve grown from humble beginnings at Cape Winelands Airport to a SACAA-licensed Aviation Training Organisation with an impeccable safety record.
Under the leadership of Principal Findlay Smith and a team of industry veterans including Head of Training Andre Groenewald and Chief Flying Instructor Mark Sheehan, we’ve shaped hundreds of pilots now flying with major airlines and private operators across the globe.
