Paddle Power Adventures journey began more than 20 years ago with a passion for the beauty and excitement of river rafting. Starting with small, guided rafting trips, we have grown into a comprehensive adventure centre situated on a beautiful, forested property right on the river’s edge.

For over two decades, we have specialised in providing thrilling outdoor experiences, making us a favourite day-trip destination less than 40 minutes from both Pretoria and Johannesburg.

Thrilling River Rafting

Embark on an exciting 5km journey down the Crocodile River. Navigate the currents with a partner in our two-person ‘crocs’, conquering two weirs and a series of rapids ranging from class 1 to 3, with the potential for class 4 after good rains.

Scenic Hiking Trails

Discover the brand new and exclusive Harties River Hiking Trail, opened in October 2020. This stunning route offers breathtaking views of Harties Dam as you walk alongside the Crocodile River. Choose from 6km (Easy), 8km, or 10km (Intermediate) routes. Booking is essential for hikes available on Saturdays, Sundays, and most public holidays.

Exhilarating Abseiling Experiences

Discover the thrill and beauty of abseiling with our fully guided experiences. We offer two unique sites:

• Cliff: A 20m sheer cliff abseil including a 15m scramble climb
• Bridge: A unique 15m open-air abseil off the old Broederstroom Bridge into a raft

No experience is necessary, as all gear and safety are managed by our qualified guides.

• minimum body weight 45kg,
• maximum weight 120kg,
• and maximum size 38 men’s pants due to gear limitations.
