Queen’s Hotel by BON Hotels, opened on 20 March 1880, is South Africa’s oldest four-star hotel and the third oldest hotel in the nation. This stately grande dame of hospitality is steeped in history and is situated in Oudtshoorn, the heart of the Klein Karoo and the world’s Ostrich Capital. The hotel was originally named after Queen’s Street (now Baron van Reede Street). It reflects the luxury of the ostrich feather boom period while offering modern comforts. Recently restored to its original grandeur, it now perfectly blends old-world charm with contemporary luxury.
