About Us
The Cedar Garden Bed & Breakfast, which is operated by Monica and Norman Herring, has been a favourite getaway in the centre of Underberg ever since it opened its doors in 2008. Our love of hospitality and gardening shows in our beautiful English-style garden, which has even appeared on “Open Gardens.” We are in a great position to explore the Southern Drakensberg, including the famous Sani Pass.
Cedar Garden Lodging
Cedar Garden has room for up to 27 people in pleasant, spacious rooms. You may choose between bed and breakfast or self-catering, depending on what you like most. Our attractively furnished rooms will help you relax, and we provide alternatives for couples, families, and bigger groups.
We provide a tasty breakfast to our bed and breakfast visitors to get them ready for a day of fun. Our self-catering rooms include everything you need if you want to set your own schedule. We love having kids here, and we have reduced prices for younger customers.
Eating in Cedar Garden
Guests at our bed and breakfast can look forward to a delicious breakfast every morning that will give them the energy they need to explore the Drakensberg.
Cedar Garden Amenities
Our house has a beautiful garden that attracts plenty of birds, making it a peaceful place to unwind. We provide free WiFi and private, safe parking on the premises. The B&B is accessible to wheelchairs, so all guests will be comfortable.
Going to Underberg
Cedar Garden is in the middle of everything, so it’s easy to go to all of Underberg’s attractions. There are many outdoor things to do in the region, such as hiking, horseback riding, fly fishing, and mountain biking. Bird lovers may go on special excursions with Stuart McLean of “Birds and Beyond.” These tours include amazing birdwatching trips to Sani Pass.
