WarmKaros has been a beloved family-owned getaway in the Eastern Cape since 2002. It combines contemporary luxury with the area’s rich cultural history. Our 3-star Bed & Breakfast and 4-star conference facility are named after the traditional “warm karos,” which is a hide blanket that stands for warmth and safety. They exemplify the essence of South African hospitality. Louis and Marilee Fourie started WarmKaros as a peaceful bed and breakfast. Since then, it has developed into a diverse collection that includes high-end accommodations, cutting-edge conference facilities, and custom event spaces, all with a focus on personalised care.
