The Beach Hotel

The Beach Hotel has been a famous place to stay in Port Elizabeth since it opened in 1893. After a fire in 1915, our family-run hotel was rebuilt and has since become a top 4-star coastal establishment that provides excellent service to both business and leisure travellers.

Our hotel is well located on Marine Drive in Summerstrand, just across from Hobie Beach. It is easy to go to all of Port Elizabeth’s main attractions and is a pleasant place to stay.
