Check out what Mthatha has to offer
Willing Buddies is in a great location near important places including the Nelson Mandela Museum, the Mthatha Health Club, the nearby golf course, and Walter Sisulu University. The museum, which opened in 2000, gives visitors a unique look at Madiba’s life via three important places: the Bunga Building in Mthatha, his birthplace in Mvezo, and his boyhood hamlet of Qunu.
People who love nature may go to the adjacent Dwesa and Cwebe Nature Reserve, which has one of the Eastern Cape’s biggest areas of native coastal forest. It has more than 290 types of birds and beautiful walking paths, so it’s a must-see for anybody who loves the outdoors.
