Joan’s Bed & Breakfast has been a peaceful place for tourists to stay in Durban North. Colin and Dorinda started our B&B with the idea of combining the comfort of home with the style of a private hideaway. For many years, we’ve been a favourite getaway for both business and leisure travellers. We provide a peaceful setting only a short distance from Durban’s lively attractions.

Each of our seven en-suite cottages has its own entrance and elegant decor, and they are all created with comfort and seclusion in mind. Our accommodations are great for both business and pleasure.

Our accommodations are great for everyone, from those travelling alone to couples and families. You may choose between a single or double/twin room. Prices range from R600 to R900 for a single room and R400 to R600 per person sharing. Breakfast is included with every stay, so you can start your day off well.

You may have a full English or continental breakfast in our dining room or outside by the pool when you wake up. We have fresh fruit salads, handcrafted scones, crispy bacon, eggs served to your preference, and more on our menu. You may enjoy all of this in a calm, sunny atmosphere.

Evening Meals That Are Optional

We provide meals upon request for those who would rather eat at home. It’s the ideal way to relax after a day of exploring.
