Westlodge Bed & Breakfast is a beautiful place to stay in Graskop, Mpumalanga, and has been a favourite place for tourists on the Panorama Route for more than 20 years. Our Victorian-style lodge with four stars combines old-world elegance with contemporary amenities. It is a peaceful place to stay while exploring the escarpment. Westlodge is known for its peaceful grounds and friendly staff. It has become a place to rest and explore in the middle of South Africa’s natural treasures.

Bedrooms on the First Floor

Our first-floor bedrooms are great for couples or small families. They each have their own bathroom and balcony with a great view of the Fairyland Rain Forest. You may choose between the Madelief (two three-quarter beds and a sleeping sofa) and the Wedgewood (a queen-sized bed). Both include satellite TV, mini-bars, and electric blankets for when it’s cold outside.

Suites in the Garden

Our separate Fleur de Lis East and West Suites look out over a rose garden for extra seclusion. The East Suite has twin beds, while the West Suite has a queen-sized bed. Both suites have beautiful decor and direct access to a covered porch.

Retreats on the Ground Floor

The Martin Bedroom has an extra-long queen bed and a separate entrance to the verandah. The Rozen Luxury Bedroom has a Victorian cast-iron bath, a king-sized bed, with views of a private garden, making it even more romantic. All of the rooms include hospitality trays, fans, and oil heaters to keep you comfortable all year long.

Eating and Relaxing

In our bright dining room, you may have a full English or continental breakfast to start your day. We don’t run a complete restaurant, but Graskop’s famous pancake houses and other local restaurants are only a few minutes away. Relax in our lounge or garden, which is a great place to enjoy the fresh air of Mpumalanga.

You can easily go to the best parts of the Panorama Route from Westlodge, which is in a great location. These include God’s Window, Bourke’s Luck Potholes, and the Blyde River Canyon. Go even farther to see the nature sanctuaries along the Northern Route or the historic Pilgrim’s Rest along the Southern Route. You may go hiking, trout fishing, or on day excursions to Kruger National Park.
