About Wellington

Wellington is a charming town located in the Berg River Valley of Western Cape, approximately 45km northeast of Cape Town. Situated between the dramatic Hawequa and Groenberg mountains, this historic settlement is surrounded by lush vineyards, fruit orchards and the winding Berg River.

The area enjoys a Mediterranean climate with warm, dry summers and cool, wet winters ideal for viticulture. Wellington’s landscape combines Cape Dutch architecture with breathtaking mountain backdrops and fertile agricultural lands.
