Hout Bay Lodge has been a popular place for travellers looking for both leisure and adventure in the heart of South Africa’s beautiful Hout Bay for over ten years. We built our guest house to fit in with the natural beauty around it. It’s a peaceful getaway that’s just a short drive from Cape Town’s lively attractions. Types of Rooms

Guinea Fowl Room: From your extra-large King bed, you can see the mountains and the sea all around you. Then, you may take a shower in your own ensuite bathroom. The private courtyard entry makes you want to relax by the sparkling pool.

The Peacock Room is great for families since it has a Queen bed and a single bed, an ensuite bathroom, and peaceful views of the garden. The courtyard that everyone uses is a nice place to unwind.

The Eagles Nest Room is another family-friendly choice. It has a Queen bed and two single beds in separate rooms that are connected. The windows that face the garden make the room seem calm.

The Hornbill Room is great for those who want to see the mountains and gardens. It has two single beds, an ensuite bathroom, and direct access to the courtyard.

Pelican Room: A comfortable place to stay with a Queen bed, a shower in the room, and views of the mountains. The pool and patio next door are just a few feet away.

The Flamingo Room has two single beds and an ensuite bathroom. It has views of both the mountains and the sea. The courtyard beside the pool makes it even more charming.

The Owl Room has a huge King bed, a bathroom in the room, and views of the mountains and the sea. The exit from the private patio goes to the pool.

Features of the Premium

All of the rooms include free Wi-Fi, secure parking, and no smoking inside. Many have private patio seating, which is great for coffee in the morning or drinks in the evening.

Food and Wellness

We don’t have a restaurant on site, but we’re in a great location that makes it easy to walk to Hout Bay’s best cafes and seafood restaurants. You may relax by swimming in our solar-heated pool or sitting in the sun in the courtyard.

Visit Hout Bay

Our lodge is a gateway to the Cape Peninsula’s treasures, sitting between the Atlantic Ocean and the Table Mountain range. You may hike the famous Chapman’s Peak, go to the busy harbour market or check out the Kirstenbosch Gardens and Cape Winelands nearby.
