About Margate

Margate is a popular seaside resort town located on KwaZulu-Natal‘s South Coast, approximately 20km southwest of Port Shepstone. Situated along the picturesque Hibiscus Coast, this holiday destination boasts some of the warmest ocean temperatures in South Africa, thanks to the nearby Mozambique Current.
