About Us
Hebron Haven Hotel is a wonderful place to stay in the Dargle, KwaZulu-Natal Midlands. It has a lot of history. The property was formerly held by Carl Preller and was part of a government land grant in the 1800s. Stories of hidden wealth add to its colourful history. Hebron Haven started off as a place for travellers to halt on their way to the gold fields. Now, it is a well-loved hotel that offers warm hospitality and a link to the area’s heritage.
Rooms at the Hebron Haven Hotel
Our carefully planned rooms combine the elegance of the past with the comfort of the present. Our garden suites and family loft suites have been recently updated with sumptuous décor, beautiful linen, and a lot of attention to detail. Every room has its own style, so every guest will have a great time. Hebron Haven is a peaceful and attractive place to stay, whether you’re there for leisure or to attend events at neighbouring Michaelhouse or Hilton College.
The hotel grounds are just as attractive, with wide lawns that flow down to the Umngeni River, which is perfect for picnics or walks. Nature lovers will love the many birds that live there, from fish eagles to Knysna Loeries. The manicured pond and newly renovated pool area are also great places to relax. Our tennis court and proximity to the riverside provide plenty of activities for people who want to be active.
At the Hebron Restaurant & Dining
Guests may enjoy hearty home-style food made with fresh, local ingredients at our on-site restaurant, @ Hebron. The restaurant is known for its fun Friday night live music events and its popular Sunday Roast Lunch. It has a friendly, welcoming ambiance. Picnics and platters, high teas, and seasonal community events on our sunny terrace are some of the other dining options.
Facilities at the Hebron Haven Hotel
Our facilities are more than just somewhere to stay and dine; they also provide places to relax and have fun. The swimming pool, tennis court, and large gardens are great places to unwind, and the cosy lounge and bar are perfect places to have drinks with friends in the evening. The hotel’s riverfront and mountain views provide a beautiful setting for weddings, conferences, or private parties.
A Doorway to the Midlands
Hebron Haven is a beautiful place to get away from it all, but the Midlands area around it is worth exploring. There is something for everyone, from wine tasting and river rafting to walks in the countryside. But as many visitors find out, the real charm is in our hospitality, where strangers become friends.
