The Robertson Small Hotel

The Robertson Small Hotel, which opened in 1909 and is now a National Monument, is a beautiful place to stay in the Robertson Valley. Originally constructed as a grand mansion, the hotel has been carefully renovated to combine its rich Victorian history with modern style. Our 11 rooms and suites are all luxurious havens that pay homage to the hotel’s legendary heritage while providing contemporary amenities. Pick from four different groups:

Little Rooms

These comfortable rooms are perfect for couples or anyone travelling alone. They include super-king beds, ensuite bathrooms, and organic products that come from the area. Air conditioning, Wi-Fi that doesn’t cost anything, and safes in the room are all nice features.

Rooms in the Manor House

These rooms are in the original 1909 house and have high ceilings, antique furniture, and views of the garden that give them an old-world feel. A tribute to Robertson’s past, with all the current comforts.

Stable Suites

These suites were made from the estate’s old stables and have a rustic charm. They also have exclusive access to one of our two pool areas. They each have their own style, with exposed stone walls, soft linens, and private patios.

Pool Suites

Our Pool Suites are the most luxurious since they have modern designs, private hardwood decks, and direct access to the peaceful poolside. Great for newlyweds or anybody who wants to be alone.

Our award-winning restaurant uses local produce to create seasonal dishes that reflect the Cape Winelands’ bounty. Have breakfast in the courtyard, which is full of sunlight, or supper by candlelight in the manor’s beautiful dining room. Pair your meal with wines from the best estates in the Robertson Valley.

Zest Spa

Our on-site spa offers personalised treatments that will make you feel better. Each treatment uses native ingredients, from massages with Pinotage grapes to facials that make you feel refreshed. Couples may have private treatments in a shared retreat.
